The genius of Brazilian designer Pedro Lourenço’s 8-piece collection for Nike is that it barely passes for something that you’d wear to a workout. But each bra, pant, short, and jacket has been designed with the movability and breathability that Nike-favoring athletes have come to depend on. It’s altogether a reinvention of training wear with a welcomed couture element.

The bra is described as a “second skin,” yet it could definitely serve as a sporty, stand-alone top. One dry-fit jacket comes in a faux croc print—the other is a chic pale pink windbreaker—but both are more than appropriate to wear to, from, and long after a workout has been completed. While we could easily say it’s amongst the most flattering workout attire that we‘ve seen (and not just because it’s modeled on Karlie Kloss), it’s so much more than that. There’s too many high performance characteristics to list, (adjustable, movable, go-anywhere, waterproof) but we were especially impressed to learn about Nike’s “sweat-wicking” panels that actually draw sweat away from the body. But you won’t necessarily need that if you’re simply wearing Nike x Pedro Lourenço pieces on the street, which you absolutely should do.

Nike x Pedro Lourenço is available starting today at NikeLab Store at 21 Mercer Street in New York City.
