MODA: Julianne Moore posa y se viste para Reed Krakoff

Cuando el pasado abril Reed Krakoff anunciaba su salida como director creativo de Coach, una de las razones por no decir la razón principal era que el diseñador se quería dedicar en exclusiva a su firma homónima.

Y Krakoff ha tirado la casa por la ventana en esta temporada fichando a Julianne Moore como imagen de su firma.  Reed Krakoff ha decidido probar con una celebrity, y no cualquier celebrity sino Julianne Moore quien es una asidua a los desfiles del propio Krakoff, Lanvin o Calvin Klein e incluso es considerada por muchos como la musa femenina de Tom Ford.

La campaña, fotografiada por el propio diseñador y que se podrá ver en su totalidad a partir de septiembre, capta a Julianne Moore en los alrededores de la embajada francesa situada en la Quinta Avenida de Nueva York, Reed comenta: “Admiro el extraordinario talento de Julianne, tiene un estilo único y he tengo la suerte de conocerla desde hace muchos años, tanto a nivel profesional como personal.”

Julianne Moore has signed up as the face of the latest campaign for New York-based designer Reed Krakoff. 

Shot by the designer himself, the 52-year-old star was photographed on location at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy offices, in New York City for a new campaign set to hit the September issues of fashion and lifestyle publications. 

“I have admired Julianne’s extraordinary talent and unique style for many years and have been fortunate enough to get to know her on both a professional and personal level,” Krakoff told WWD. The designer said he picked Moore for “the combination of personal strength, confidence and a subtle sensuality, which is strongly reflected in the imagery.” 

The actress, who was shot in a python and knit back vest with her famed red locks down over her shoulders, is no stranger to the world of fashion, and has previously starred in campaigns for Bulgari. 

Krakoff recently announced he would be standing down from his post as Creative Director at Coach in order to focus on his own namesake brand
