Ginger Miso Broth
Our
number one recipe to whip up when we’re feeling under the weather is
Ginger Miso Broth - an incredible pick-me-up. This unbeatable
combination of homemade bone broth (our elixir for good health),
immune-boosting ginger and probiotic miso, will leave you feeling
rehydrated, satisfied and energised. We whisk in an egg or two to add
extra protein, give it a creamy consistency and make it more of a meal.
Throw in baby spinach too for some quick greens. In the cold months this
hug in a mug is the perfect way to start and even end your day - but
really, we’d have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Get the recipe here.

Chilled Lettuce Soup
Yes,
we know that September is meant to be the first month of autumn, but
here in Britain we have four seasons in one day! Since we’ve had a very
wet summer, we’re surely owed a few scorchers this month, right?! If
that’s the case, then our deliciously perky Chilled Lettuce Soup is just
the ticket. Both gem and romaine lettuce are packed full of vitamins,
minerals, phytonutrients and fibre – there’s a reason greens are good
for you! Add fresh garlic, basil, spring onions and lemon juice to make a
delicious soup that can be enjoyed both cold and hot - just in case the weather lets us down after all.

Quick Quinoa Stew
Okay,
so while it’s not technically a soup, we thought our Quick Quinoa Stew
deserved a special mention here because – just like a soup – it’s
warming, filling, easy to digest and based on homemade bone broth!
Similar to a minestrone with its base of tomatoes, fresh garlic and
oregano - we use quinoa (one of our favourite pseudocereals) instead of
pasta to make it hearty, and smoked paprika for a boost of flavour.
Super quick to make, high in protein and rich in flavour, our stew is a
perfect example of comfort food. Make up a big batch as part of your
Sunday Cook-Off and bring it into work in a thermos for a truly
satisfying hot lunch. If serving to guests, throw on some fresh herbs
like coriander to add a splash of colour and extra oomph.

Gazpacho
For
those of you who aren’t ready to say goodbye to summer yet, we’ve
included our favourite summer soup – a delicious, chilled Gazpacho. This
is a really great way to get some raw veg into your diet, particularly
for those who don’t like salads. Antioxidant-rich tomatoes lend a sweet,
tangy flavour while garlic and chilli flakes give it kick. Avocado adds
good fats, fills you up and provides a wonderfully creamy texture
without the need for bread. If you’re unsure about eating a cold soup in
September, try drinking it like a smoothie instead!

Miso Carrot Soup
A
twist on a classic, our Miso Carrot Soup is creamy and sweet with
subtle hints of Asian flavours - plus, kids love it! In this recipe we
pair the natural sweetness of carrots with the salty umami flavour of
unpasteurised Miso - probiotic and bursting with beneficial bacteria.
Throw some fresh garlic and ginger in the mix to help maintain a strong
immune system. Who knew that such a simple, healthy dish could taste so
good?!

Mexican Squash Soup
Sweet,
earthy and utterly delicious, the butternut is one of our favourite
veggies, and luckily this is the time of year when they’re at their
best! Roasted, baked or blended, this squash is great in any form – but
one of the best ways to enjoy it has to be our Mexican Squash Soup. A
blend of fragrant Mexican spices, (cinnamon, paprika, cumin and cayenne
pepper) complement the butternut perfectly, and add a wonderfully
intense flavour to this creamy soup.
