Un proyecto de La Maison du Couturier y Salvatore Arnone dedicado a los animales en peligro de extinción será presentado en la Galería Aria en Florencia, el 19 de junio.
Se trata de una colaboración entre ambos artistas en donde un vestido camisero que forma parte de la colección cápsula de La Maison, fue estampado con curiosos animales en vías de extinción.
Las fotografías realizadas por Salvatore Arnone para un proyecto anterior titulado "El Quinto Día", muestran a los animales expectantes ante la cámara, como si estuvieran demandando a quienes los miran una respuesta acerca de su destino incierto.
Lamberto Petri, el diseñador de La Maison du Couturier, respondió al llamado de estos animales con un proyecto de arte "usable" que emplea técnica muy "avant garde" de impresion jet sobre telas.
Quienes adquieran alguno de esos vestidos recibirán información acerca del animal que escogieron para vestir y para salvar, con un libro que muestras indicaciones acerca de las fundaciones relacionadas con el proyecto así como los fondos que serán destinados al IUCN, un reservorio en donde animales en peligro de extinción viven libremente.

"A project by La Maison du Couturier and Salvatore Arnone dedicated to animals in danger of extinction will be presented at the Aria gallery, in Florence, on 19 June: it’s the collaboration project of photographer Salvatore Arnone and La Maison du Couturier, the brand designed by Lamberto Petri. It is a dress and T-shirt capsule collection dedicated to selected animal species going into extinction.
In the shots realized by Salvatore Arnone for a project titled The fifth day, the artist has portrayed the animals staring at the camera, as if they were asking the viewers for an answer to their uncertain destiny.
Lamberto Petri, the designer of La Maison du Couturier, answered the call of these animals with a wearable art project, employing avant-garde ink-jet printing techniques on fabric.
Those who will purchase one of the garments will receive further information on the animals they have chosen to wear and save (hence the project’s title Save your animal) thanks to a special booklet that also prodived indications on the charity side of the project: part of the proceeds from the capsule collection will go to the IUCN facilities where the animals in danger of extinction live."
