Let's face it - when temperatures plummet and there's ice on
the ground, you're probably not going to make it out to the gym. That's
fine by us - we could all use some R&R, and there's no better time
to catch up on some much-needed pamper time than the festive season.
If you're a keen gym bunny, or one of those envy-inducing
people who always has boundless energy, you might want to fit in some
home workouts this Christmas. You'll get all the endorphin-giving,
mood-boosting properties of a gym workout, but from the comfort of your
own home - no swish equipment required.
Whether you just want to get your heart rate up, have got your heart
set on Michella Obama's arms or want Ronda Rousey's thighs, there's easy
at-home workout for you out there. All you really need is a yoga mat
(though in some cases a pillow will suffice). Bonus points if you have a
Swiss ball or any weights, most of which can be bought relatively
cheaply online.
